Waunakee Hoops Club, Inc.
The Waunakee Hoops Club, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that offers boys in the Waunakee Community School District opportunities to participate in basketball programs. Our Hoops Club Board consists of volunteers who aim to support our boys basketball players from grades 3-12. Board members work in partnership with the Waunakee High School boys basketball coaching staff and school district to organize opportunities for our 300+ annual participants. Program fundraising, league & event participation, volunteer opportunities & expenditures at all levels are organized & voted upon by board members.
How does the Hoops Club support our players?
- Uniform & equipment purchases for all youth & HS players.
- Youth team league entry fees.
- Warm up/travel & practice gear for all HS levels.
- Youth shooting shirts.
- 4th Grade player backpack purchase.
- Coaching stipends for non-parent youth coaches.
- Facility rental fees for hosted youth events.
- Manager & coaches gear for all HS levels.
- Youth coaches gear.
- Equipment purchases for all youth & HS teams.
- Program website fees & maintenance.
- Program insurance.
- Away game food for HS teams.
- Tip-off event at the start of the season for all youth & HS players.
- Sponsor team outings in season for HS team participants.
- Bus upgrades for varsity events with access travel.
- Summer league fees for HS teams.
- Investment into capital upgrades to facilities (scoreboards, for example)
- Teacher appreciation gifts for varsity team event.
- Varsity posters for youth poster night.
- End-of-season senior player/manager gift.
- End-of-season banquet expenses.
- Varsity highlight video.
- Donations (sunshine fund, Warrior Media, etc.)
